Information We Collect
Account & Booking Information: name, email, phone number, payment details (processed via secure third-party provider), booking history.
Usage Data: pages visited, time on site, device/browser type, IP address (via cookies and analytics tools).
Communications: messages sent through our contact form, email correspondence, or social media.
How We Use Your Information
To process and manage bookings; send booking confirmations and reminders; provide customer support; send marketing communications (with your consent); improve our website and services; comply with legal obligations.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies. Cookies that are necessary to run the site โ signing in, your cart, keeping your session โ are always on. Everything else (measurement and advertising) is set only after you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit. If you choose "Essential only", no analytics or advertising tool runs at all. Please see our Cookie Policy for full details, and the "Advertising, Analytics & Cookies" section below.
Advertising, Analytics & Cookies
Nothing in this section happens without your consent. We ask before any of it runs, and you can change your answer at any time by clearing cookies for this site.
We use a few tools to understand how our site is used and to measure and improve our advertising. In plain terms: these tools help us see which ads and links actually bring people to Elyonexus, where people get stuck on our forms, and help show relevant ads to people who may be interested.
Our own website measurement
We record a small, fixed set of steps as you move through our sign-up pages โ for example that a page was viewed, that a form was started, that a field was left empty, that a sign-up was completed or abandoned. This is stored on our own systems in Canada's cloud region and is not shared with anyone.
What this never contains: what you type. We record that the email field was filled in โ never the email address itself. We do not record your name, phone number, payment details, waiver answers, or the contents of any field. Each visit is tagged with a random code held only for that browser session; it is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other websites.
Where it never runs: our checkout, waiver, account and staff pages are never measured this way.
Microsoft Clarity โ heatmaps and session recordings
With your consent we use Microsoft Clarity on our marketing and waitlist pages to see how pages are actually used โ where people scroll, what they click, and where a page confuses people. Clarity may record a playback of a page view.
Clarity masks the contents of every input box before anything leaves your browser, and we additionally mark our forms as masked, so what you type is not captured. Clarity is never enabled on our checkout, waiver, account or staff pages, whatever your cookie choice.
Microsoft sets how long this data is kept and we cannot shorten it. Microsoft states that recordings are retained for 30 days, except that favourited recordings and a randomly selected sample of recordings are kept for up to 9 months, and heatmap data is kept for up to 9 months. This information is used only to diagnose problems with the site โ never to make decisions about an individual. If you ask us to delete your information, note that Clarity does not offer per-person deletion; what we can do is stop it recording you and, if necessary, delete the entire Clarity dataset. Everything we hold in our own systems we can delete on request โ email support@elyonexus.com.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) โ Pixel and Conversions API
We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API to share certain activity with Meta for advertising and measurement. This includes page views, sign-ups (for example, joining our waitlist), and purchases. Where you have provided them, this may include your email address and phone number โ but these are hashed (irreversibly scrambled) on our side before they are sent, so Meta receives a coded value rather than your actual email or phone.
Google Analytics (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand general site usage โ such as pages visited and purchases โ so we can improve the website and our services.
Cookies we use for this
- elx_consent โ a first-party cookie that records the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. This one is essential and is set whichever way you answer. It lasts about six months.
- elx_attr โ a first-party cookie we set that remembers which ad or link a visitor first arrived from, so we can credit the right campaign. It lasts up to 30 days.
- _fbp and _fbc โ cookies set by Meta to recognise a browser and the ad click that led to a visit. Set only if you accept advertising cookies.
- Google Analytics cookies โ set by Google to measure site usage. Set only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Microsoft Clarity cookies โ set by Microsoft to recognise a returning session for heatmaps and recordings. Set only if you accept analytics cookies.
Why we do this
To measure which ads and campaigns are working, and to show relevant ads to people who may be interested in Elyonexus.
Your choices and how to opt out
- The banner: Choosing "Essential only" stops all analytics and advertising tools, including session recordings, before they load. To change a previous answer, clear this site's cookies in your browser and the banner will ask again.
- Cookies: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This will not stop you from booking, though some measurement may no longer work.
- Microsoft Clarity: Microsoft's privacy statement is available at https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement
- Meta ads: You can adjust your Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, under Ad preferences.
- Google Analytics: You can install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Access or deletion: You can contact us any time to access, correct, or delete your personal information โ email support@elyonexus.com.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it with trusted third-party service providers (for example, payment processors, email platforms, and the analytics and advertising partners described in "Advertising, Analytics & Cookies" above) strictly to deliver and measure our services, under data processing agreements.
Your Rights
We handle personal information in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Under this legislation, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@elyonexus.com.
Data Security
Your data security is our priority. We employ industry-standard security measures and best practices to help protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.
Video Surveillance
Our facilities are monitored by video surveillance to enhance safety and security. All recordings are handled confidentially and may be disclosed to authorized law enforcement authorities when required by law or for official investigations.
Recruitment and Employment Applications
Elyonexus may collect personal information submitted through the Careers page, including name, contact information, resume, employment history, qualifications, references, and any other information voluntarily provided by applicants.
This information is used solely for recruitment, hiring, candidate evaluation, communication, and workforce planning purposes. Access to applicant information is restricted to authorized personnel directly involved in the hiring process.
Applicant information may be retained for a reasonable period in accordance with applicable legal, regulatory, and business requirements, even if a candidate is not selected for a position, in order to consider them for future opportunities.
By submitting an application, candidates consent to the collection, use, and storage of their information for employment-related purposes as described in this policy.
Where diversity information such as gender is collected on a voluntary basis, it is used only in aggregate for diversity and inclusion reporting purposes. This information is not considered in hiring decisions and is kept separate from application evaluations.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
